Maria Thornton

Maria moved from Puerto Rico to Lancaster at age 7 because her family decided to pursue the American dream. She is a graduate of McCaskey East High School where she focused her studies on Public Leadership and Law Enforcement. She was passionate about her studies and went on to obtain an Associate in Specialized Business Degree in 2015 from Consolidated School of Business to become a Legal Administrative Assistant. She began her career as a Clerk for the Lancaster County Clerk of Courts Office. She has been with Cody and Pfursich since April 2016 and is currently the Receptionist for the firm. She is the daughter of Pastor Juan Rivera and serves as a Youth Administrator in her local church, teaching youth ages 12 -18. In her free time, Maria enjoys travelling with her husband and fishing.
